While the Orpheum was, for decades, one of the most popular places for a concert, it really hit its stride in the early '90s after a remarkable renovation. Once restored to its elegance and beauty, the theater then became the favored stop for touring Broadway blockbusters and world premieres of shows on their way to the Great White Way. Both acoustics and sight lines are outstanding, although the limited lobby gets packed on sold-out nights.
